Epic unveiled new interoperability tools at its Open@Epic developer conference, including MyChart Central, which lets patients use a single login across health systems to access and share their complete health record. Upcoming features include biometric logins and wayfinding in MyChart, plus new APIs for prior authorization and staff safety alerts. Epic is also expanding its developer ecosystem through Open.Epic with new playbooks, testing tools, and support for U.S. interoperability standards.
