Carousel

After Ella’s Deli closed in 2018, their iconic carousel and themed décor found a new home: the Learning Center here at Epic. The whimsical restaurant and ice cream parlor was a fixture of Madison’s east side for over 40 years, featuring animated puppet displays and glass-top tables with dioramas created by local artists. 

Originally built in 1927 in Leavenworth, Kansas, the carousel twirled for years at Ella’s Deli and continues to run during conferences, the annual company picnic, and other special events at Epic so that more people can enjoy this piece of Madison’s history.
